1. Are the actions in the pictures in the past or the present? past

2. What do the verbs in the affirmative sentences have in common? they end in -ed

3. How do we form a negative sentence? did + not + verb in the base form

تمرين 3: اقرأ واختر الإجابة الصحيحة (Read and choose)

1. We form the Simple Past affirmative by adding -ed to the end of a verb ending in a consonant.

2. We form the Simple Past affirmative by adding -d to the end of a verb ending in -e.

3. We form the Simple Past affirmative by changing -y to -i and adding -ed to the end of a verb ending in a consonant and -y.

4. We form the Simple Past negative by adding did not + the base form of the verb.
